i have bought it less than a week ago and i am facing some serious heating problems....the battery temp. has gone upto 46-47 degree celcius...and its not bearable to hold......i knew all android phones get warm but this one is overheating at the bottom of the screen(on and above capacitive buttons) and at back panel below the battery
i just use the phone for moderate use and it heats up very quickly.
can anyone help me out...is it a common problem in it...what should i do..Huh??

This is usually associated with a certain app. Do you have any games on your phone? Any app that is redundantly connecting to the net?  If so, uninstall the app(s) and see if your phone still gets that hot.

i use whatsapp alot...other than that its just the inbuilt weather apps that use net.....ans as the games are considered i only play small games as ninjump,3d bowling, papertoss which should run without heating i guess coz they are not hd games......
are these causing my phone to heat....coz they are small basic apps which can work properly on any small budget device and the powerful htc sensation should not be affected by it.....

It's strange it did this the other day, now I'm not noticing it happening any more its Luke it just stopped doing it , I don't know the cause but I'm glad mine stopped! Very strange, i also  would love to find out cause. It had got so ho t it was uncomfortable to touch. Glad it stopped doing that!

My phone was overheating also. I found a solution. I replaced my battery with a more powerful linger lasting battery. Since the switch out I've NEVER overheated again.! Problem solved. This worked wonderfully for my overheating problems. Now I can't even get it to get warm! It's wonderful! What a difference I also get about 5 more hours up time out of it! Hope this helps! Good luck.

Hey realsis!

I was actually thinking about getting a new battery.  Smiley
Could you advice which one you got and from where?

Thanks!

Hi if you don't want to spend a lot their is the  Anker or the chichitech longer lasting battery, I have both. Personally I like the Anker best. You can get it from Amazon.com. don't buy from eBay because there are some fakes out their. With Anker I've got about 5 extra hours out of my battery compared to my stock battery.Anker claims to be 1900mah. My battery tester app confirms this.it runs a lot cooler than the stock battery. Never yet got hot on me. The chichitech bAttery was a disapointment to me. Mine barely lasted three hours before plummeting to empty! Perhaps I got a bad one. Anker is running my phone now. I recommend it. Of course if you want to spend a lot of money their are other batteries. But Anker is 20 dollars, others are 60 and up. I hope I've helped you . Good luck. Let me know how it goes ok Smiley
