I got my sensation 20 days ago and I noticed an increase in dust particles under the touch screen. Has any one else had the same dust issue? I have not been to the beach. I have kept the phone as clean as any one could. Still the dust has found its way underneath the screen and is growing ever since.

welcome, are you sure its underneath your touch screen, or have you got a protective screen on top of the glass, and the dust you see is underneath. seems very strange dust particles under screen physically, all my years of having a touch screens your the first i've heard that.

Sorry i cannot be of much service,

Forums been dead lately but someone here might be able to advise you. Just be Patient.

I had dust underneath my screen after the first day. Took it back to my vendor within 28 days and got it replaced. No issue (other than the fact that they never had one in stock). Problem now is that I have dust underneath this screen and in the same place! (left side, half way up). Contacted HTC, apparently there is no known issue and I must have been 'unlucky'. Luckily I have another 25 days to get this replaced....let's hope I'm not 'unlucky' again.....

Hi aziz

I can safely say I didn't drop my phone and I'm thinking it was a batch problem with the earlier phones released. I've since got my sensation replaced again  and no dust under this one! Wooo

I too had dust under my screen, thankfully i noticed on the last day I could return it to Tmobile (unconditionally) and they just swapped it right out for me...less than 10 minutes in the store.

With or without notice time to get it replaced: this is covered by HTC's warranty.
Managed to return 2 telephones, got them back within one and a half week: dust free.
Unfortunately, it's a simple clean: they dont really fix the issue... It comes back later.

On my second Sensation with dust under the screen in exactly the same place as the first - right hand side centre, it looks like a comet heading to the side of the phone. Both faults have surfaced within 24 hours of use.  This latest one also has a dead pixel. I'll take it back for replacement I guess.  Funny, my last phone, an HTC Desire had dust under the screen also. I'm kinda wanting to swap it out for a Galaxy S II, this is a really shoddy design flaw, and I'm assuming a replacement will have just the same problem.

On my third phone now and there's some more appearing again. Pi@#%ed off if I'm honest. It's a wonderful phone, but left down by a manufacturing fault.

I havent had this at all tbh, just been looking now and i have nothing under the screen, just make sure usual things like not to have it in a shower room then take it straight out into a cold room to insure seal stays good. Also keep phone in case when in pocket (worst place for dust) and also under pillow at night.

Got to remember this phone is all screen not like older phones

I signed up to report that I have the same problem with dust underneath the glass of my Sensation only five days after purchasing it(purchased on Sunday 9/18/2011).  I will go and replace it this coming weekend, but it seems to be a serious flaw in design.
